Our efforts to be useful for our customers continue with another bookmaker review. We try to show you everything in the bookmakers' websites that is interesting, important, and you have to know, no matter if you place bets for fun or you take the betting seriously.
Today we will review a bookmaker, which is not a popular one right now but is with high ambitions to reach the highest positions in the industry.
The company, which we are talking about is named MustardBet and is a brand new player on the betting scene. As per our experience, we can say that it is really hard to start in this crowded market, and we will follow with interest how MustardBet will break into the industry, and how it will impress and win customers.
MustardBet is a company with registered offices in the Isle of Man and holds licenses by the Isle of Man Gambling Commission and the United Kingdom Gambling Commission. Both of the commissions have a high reputation and are proof that you can feel safe that your money, payment transactions, and private details are fully secured with MustardBet. The bookmaker promotes responsible betting and is a member of the Begambleraware.org.
We tried to find what the others think about MustardBet, but probably because the bookmaker is pretty new in the industry, the comments are not enough to get an idea of what we can expect from it, so we decided to examine it and find out everything by ourselves.
How to open an account with MustardBet?
Once you are on the bookmaker’s landing page, you can easily see the blue button ''Register'', which is located in the centre. When you press it, you will be directed to a page where you have to create your profile. In the first step, you will be asked to fill in some details such as names, email address, phone number, and date of birth. In the second step, you just put your address.
The last step is set for your username and the password you want to use when you log in to the website. Once you confirm that your age is over 18 and you read the full terms and conditions, just press the button ''Create your account'', and you can start enjoying the bookmaker’s features.
After the procedures, a pop-up with MustardBet’s welcome offer will show up, and you can decline or accept it.
You can adjust more settings such as deposit and loss limits, and what kind of marketing information you want to receive in your email. Note that those options can be changed at any time.
MustardBet Welcome offer
The bookmaker is new in the betting industry, and probably because of that, the welcome offer is not generous enough and you can’t take advantage of something special. Anyway, the welcome bonus is named ''Deposit £10 Bet with £20'', and gives you extra £10 for your first deposit of minimum £10. Keep in mind that, you can receive only £10, no matter the amount with which you will make your first deposit. The good news is coming from the wagering requirements. Both the deposit and the bonus of £10 are subject to only 1 wagering requirement before they can be withdrawn. That fact is a considerable reason to open an account with this bookmaker because the withdrawal is very easy if you success with your first few bets. Another good rule is that there are no maximum returns or maximum stake requirements with the welcome offer, so you can be confident if you make a long run with winnings with your first deposit and bonus.
Generally speaking, the welcome offer is not the best out there and we can even say that it is quite small. On the good side, you can take advantage of it and make fast winnings and withdrawals.
We advise you to read all the terms and conditions for the welcome offer for your confidence.
Here we have to mention the fact that, we couldn't find any other special promotions. No doubt, MustardBet should consider changing that. Our experience in the betting industry has shown us that along with impressing new customers, successful bookmakers keep the existing ones with different promotions, free bets, boosted odds, and so on.
First impression and design
Honestly, when we visited for the very first time Mustardbet’s website we were a bit confused. The whole design and platform are completely different from traditional styles. A huge Mustardbet banner welcomes you, and when you scroll under it you can check the featured and upcoming events.
Probably the most strange and confusing thing for us was finding in-play events. In order to see them, you have to click on a few categories which are a sport, country, and league. Then, you have to check if the game you that you are searching for is there because it can be mixed with future games. We can definitely say that by the time of our checks, the number of live games was not enough and rarely you can find what you are searching for.
In our opinion, MustardBet’s two main colours - dark purple and blue, do not complement each other, and the bookmaker should work more with its designers for better effects and website style.
You can explore the betting opportunities that MustardBet offers on the left side of the website’s landing page. At the moment when we examined the site, we found 17 available sports to bet on. Unfortunately, we can’t say that this number is satisfying and in our opinion, the sports coverage is one more area where the bookmaker should work on.
Luckily, you can find the most popular sports such as football, tennis, and basketball. However, the leagues, tournaments, markets, and odds are limited, and you can find only the major ones. If you are a horse racing fan, we should warn you in advance that you will be disappointed when you visit MustardBet, because the bookmaker doesn’t support this sport.
Other sports that you can bet on include cricket, rugby, MMA, ice hockey, and others.
We noticed the fact that the bet slip is looking different from the traditional one. MustardBet named it Rotating bet slip and made it with interactive style, which we liked very much because it is really fast and you don't have to make any extra clicks. As for now, on the website, you can make only single bets, but our suggestions are that the bookmaker works hard to bring to its customers the feature to bet on more than one game simultaneously. When you check the odds for some event, you will see that under each odd there is a visible maximum amount for it. That feature makes your betting faster because you will avoid thinking how much you can bet on specific odds. Unfortunately, the limits are pretty low for now, for example, if you want to bet on the Premier League game between Burnley and Everton, the maximum amount you can bet on the winning of the away team is £436 on odds of 2.54.
Extras you can find if you open an account with MustardBet
In this area, we will generalise what MustardBet gives to its ustomers and what it doesn’t. Let’s take a look:
• Mobile app – MustardBet successfully developed a fast mobile app for both Android an IOS operating systems. It allows you to bet on the go and take advantage of the desktop version’s benefits such as the welcome offer, the interactive bet slip, and others.
• Blog – Here you can find analyses about many sports events, sports news, useful betting content, and company updates.
• Cash-out option – this feature is available on selected events and competitions for pre-match betting and some in-play events.
• Customer support – If you have any queries, questions, or feedback, you can contact MustardBet via live chat, telephone (+44 0 203 475 7699), and email – firstname.lastname@example.org. Keep in mind that all contact forms have working hours that are every day between 10 AM and 10 PM UK time. Anyway, if you need any help, don’t hesitate to contact MustardBet, you will be assisted quickly.
• Casino – If you like casino games, you can bet on slots, roulettes, blackjack, and others. In the casino are, you can earn up to 2% cashback on your favourite games.
• Live-streaming – unfortunately, MustardBet supports neither live-streaming nor live statistics nor visualisation for in-play events.
Payment methods and limits
When you decide to deposit money in your new MustardBet account, you have only 1 payment method available for that – credit/debit cards. You can use Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro, but nothing more. We advise MustardBet to think about ways to add more payment methods, in order to win more new customers.
The minimum amount both for deposits and withdrawals is £10. The maximum pay-out limit set by MustardBet is £250 000 per day. The minimum and the maximum bet stake depends on the event you want to bet on, and it is always visible when you click on the odds.
The beginning of everything is hard, even harder
in the betting industry. Our experience has shown us that the key to success
for new bookmakers is to follow the established rules such as providing a generous welcome offer, special bonuses for
existing customers, and high odds on the one hand, and differing from
competitors with something unique on the other.
Definitely, MustardBet shows having huge ambition as it innovated the sector and offers a new style of betting with tools like the interactive bet slip. On the other hand, the bookmaker should work more on the missing features such as accumulator betting, more sports to bet on, more in-play events, promotions for existing customers, and enhancing its welcome offer. In our opinion, by adding these functions, the bookmaker will build a stable reputation and increase its chances to win more new customers.
That’s all that we can say about MustardBet. We hope that you found the review about the bookmaker an interesting and informative one.
