MoPlay review and welcome offers
Sports betting is increasingly popular and there are plenty of new players trying to break into the market in order to grab their slice of the pie but are they any good?
That is the all-important question, so we are going to take a look at MoPlay, a new bookmaker brought to the market by the Addison Group based in Gibraltar. Both Addison Group and MoPlay have only existed since 2018 yet they have already managed to partner up with a couple of big names in English Premier League Football with their brand linked with both Manchester United and Watford.
In this review we will take a look at the kind of things on offer from MoPlay including their security, their odds and the sports they cover as well as delving into the support mechanisms they have in place and finally what offers they dish out to new customers.

MoPlay New Customer Offer
MoPlay offer new customers a welcome bonus of £30 in free bets upon opening a new account and making their first £10+ bet on any sporting event with odds of 1.5 or more. The way the bonus works is, rather than receiving a single lump sum of £30 on the settling of the initial bet you will actually receive it in the form of two £15 bet tokens.
This welcome offer is pretty good but it
does need to be placed within 13 days or you will lose the bonus. The nice plus
point here is that it can be used on any sporting event (excluding eports) so
make sure you place it on a sport or match that you are familiar with in order
not to waste it.
The two bet tokens each need to be used within seven days of them being deposited into your account and cannot be withdrawn, although you can withdraw any winnings made from the bonus bets but make sure they meet the qualifying terms as stated above. You do not need an access code to receive the bonus, it will be automatically allocated after your qualifying bets have been settled.
This offer is pretty good value, not the best on the market but it still ranks highly against most of the competition so make sure you take advantage when you sign up and get the MoPlay welcome offer.
MoPlay First impressions
What online bookmakers will be astutely aware of is the need to make a good first impression. This is the same for most online websites that sell a product or service but is definitely more important for online bookies.
Does MoPlay succeed? Yes is the quickest answer to that question but let’s take a look why. As well as their welcome offer they do several things really well. Firstly, the site is crisp, clean and clear with a predominantly black and white colour scheme with a splash of green in there for good measure. Creating a feeling of security and comfort - which to be honest i like.
Although smooth and nice the MoPlay design is not the most attractive out there and could be a little more eye-catching; after all, black and white is a bit conservative. That said, it does not overwhelm or appear too cluttered or busy which is far worse than being slightly understated inappearance.
The menus are easy to navigate and popular events are listed clearly on the left hand side in grey boxes whilst the range of sports available to bettors is also on the left menu just a little further down. It is all there as you would expect and nothing sticks out or appears out of place. That enables punters to quickly navigate among the site and find what they need.
Betting odds and sports covered by MoPlay
Any serious bookmaker will offer customers a huge range of sports to get their teeth into and MoPlay do not disappoint on this count. New customers will find they have a wide range of options available with some excellent markets for their English Premier League selections in football plus they also cover leagues right across the world including Europe’s top five.
Frankly, they have football covered with games available from Armenia to Japan to El Salvador – it is all there.
Other sports you’d expect to see from an online bookmaker are all present and correct with tennis, rugby (league and union), golf, cricket, basketball and boxing. They also offer sports for the more discerning connoisseur with MMA fighting, chess and esports all available and even offer non-sports such as politics.
With all these great sports the next question is whether they offer competitive odds? You bet (sorry)! In all seriousness MoPlay odds are very competitive and although some of the bigger, more established bookmakers can offer slightly better prices on certain selections MoPlay did out do their more illustrious competition on several occasions so there should be no question over their value. Keep an eye out, also, for their MoPlay specials and upgrades which are available on the left hand menu.
One thing to note is that the winning limits at MoPlay are massive allowing players to win up to £1 million on football and £250,000 on horse racing while bets as low as £0.10 can be wagered offering a versatility that will suit every player.
In-Play betting with MoPlay
In play betting is a big part of the MoPlay offering. They have several sports that allow players to place bets after the games have started and, yes, you can cash out to make a profit while the going is good.
The sports available for in-play betting include football, Ice hockey, tennis, cricket, handball, table tennis and volley ball. Another nice touch from MoPlay is a feature called Powerplay that gives you the opportunity to bet in which 30 second segment of a game the next goal will be scored.
MoPlay Horse racing
MoPlay horse racing is good but not spectacular. There is a huge selection available for the UK and Irish markets and the way it is presented on the site is clear cut with no fuss. Their international horse racing options are more limited than some of the bigger bookmakers which might be frustrating to some horse racing enthusiasts but there is still more than enough to get stuck into.
Mobile and Apps available at MoPlay
Bringing a new way of thinking to mobile betting is the big pulling factor behind MoPlay. The company advertise this as their area of expertise and special area of focus and they pull it off admirably.
The MoPlay app is available on Android and iOS and is superb in the way it crams everything from the web version into a smart phone or other device. They have some handy features that make navigating through all the sports on offer a lot easier and there is also seamless integration of the in-play, Powerplay and cashing out options making for a very good, user friendly experience.
Being new to the market MoPlay will have a tough time meeting the same quality of customer service offered by their rivals but what they do have in place is pretty decent. You might get stuck on any number of issues when using an online betting site but the MoPlay FAQ section has plenty of information that is easy to access.
If you still cannot find what you are
looking for then just click the ‘chat with us’ box on the bottom right of the
help page and you will be quickly address by a service agent who should be able
to handle almost all the enquiries you may have.
As of yet, there is no email or telephone help available with MoPlay which might put a few people off but as they grow you should see their help options expand. For now, the live chat should be enough to cover most of the issues you might come across.
Security is a vital part of any online business but when you are dealing in betting it becomes paramount but punters need not worry. MoPlay is a fully secured site with excellent security meaning you can play with confidence.
They are fully licenced by the UK Gambling Commission that distributes licenses in the UK making MoPlay a legal betting site for customers for the United Kingdom and this information is clearly displayed on the MoPlay website. Kudos should also be sent their way for being registered with the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS) which offers an independent resolution service in case of disputes and they are also part of eCOGRA which means all their betting options are completely transparent and open. They are also linked to GamStop and Game Care which are useful tools in the responsible gaming field so the overall security experience with MoPlay is top notch.
MoPlay Payments and withdrawals
Haven’t you always wanted a bookmaker who will not charge you a penny to make withdrawals or move money? Well look no further as MoPlay offers all their payment services for free without any hidden costs which is a refreshing change.
To make payments MoPlay allow the normal range of options with credit card, debit card and ewallets such as Skrill and Neteller. It has to be said that their options are more limited than some of their established rivals with services such as Paypal currently not an option nor are crypto currencies like Bitcoin.
Withdrawals are standard and can be made in all the usual methods with e-wallet withdrawals being instant and card withdrawals taking up to five working days.
Overall, MoPlay have made a very good entrance into the market offering a full range of sports at solid value. There are plenty of ways to make payments and withdrawals and although the customer service options are slightly limited they should be enough for most punters.
The mobile app is excellent and they deserve huge credit for making this as good as it is while their £30 free bets welcome offer is also good value.
MoPlay are definitely worth your time but don’t take our word for it, try them for yourselves, you won’t be disappointed.
